FREE Private Introduction

The CrossFit method is a very unique fitness program and no two CrossFit facilities are alike. Here at CFLI we take a great pride in our level of training and we make a conscious effort to get to know our clients the best we can. In order to do this we ask you to set up a Private Interview appointment to meet privately with one of our Coaches. The Coach will take you on a tour of our facility, and discuss our program and how we get the most out of our students. You will learn more about our Training Sessions, our enrollment packages, and our community. We will do our best to learn about you, your current level of fitness, and your goals.


During the interview you will learn a couple of CrossFit exercises and your Coach will lead you through the “Baseline” workout. The workout is simple yet challenging and will, like always, be scaled to meet your individual abilities, making it appropriate for your current level of fitness.
Upon completion of the “Baseline”, we will sit and discuss our Training Packages and which one may best meet your needs, including current your level of fitness, goals, and daily schedule. We will send you out with a packet of additional information as well.


After the Interview, the Coaching Staff will then sit down and discuss your goals, level of commitment, and availability to be sure one of our membership positions is right for you. You are also invited in for a FREE Training Session within a week following your Introduction. After you have done the Baseline and participated in a Training Session, we will contact you within a few days to discuss the next steps.


We do our Interviews on Monday-Friday between 10:30am-12:30pm, but we have some flexibility if there is a serious scheduling conflict. Please call our office at 631.909.4849 to set up your appointment, we can usually get you in here within a week or so.

Enrollment

Being a student here at CrossFit Long Island far exceeds the benefits of a normal gym “membership”. As a member of our team you will be put through high intensity workouts in which you will be coached by a CrossFit Certified Coach from start to finish. The small group atmosphere creates a perfect opportunity to receive individual instruction and attention from our trained professionals. All workouts are scaled to meet the individual needs and abilities of every client.

If you’re looking to pay a flat monthly fee for access to a commercial gym where nobody knows you, coaches you, or cares about your progress, click here. If quality is what you seek and you are looking to make a legitimate investment into your health and fitness, you have come to the right place. As a student here you are far more than just a “number” that owes money on the 1st of every month. You are part of a team and your goals are as important to us as they are to you.

Every Coach here will know your full name, your background, how long you've been training here, any injuries or illnesses that may need attention, etc, and you'll get to know us too. We keep it personal and our community is our backbone. If you're down for working hard and having fun with some pretty cool people, we definately have room for you.

Newsflash: Gold's gym, the YMCA, and most other commercial, "big box" gym in the area cost less than we do. We run an entirely different type of program and we do not compete on price, we compete on quality and value, and we are confident that we stand above the rest. We have Training Packages, for 2x/week, 3x/week, and Unlimited Sessions/week, with different package lengths to help meet your goals. The rate per training session ranges from $10.50 to $21, depending on those variables. If you are ready to take control of your own health and future, improve your lifestyle and eating habits, and work pretty friggin' hard, you're in the right place.

If you are not 100% satisfied with our program after the first month, for any reason, we will refund 100% of your money AND pay for your first month back at your previous gym. Guaranteed.

What is CrossFit?

CrossFit is a fitness revolution that challenges the ideas of conventional fitness programs and is rapidly re-defining everything we know about being “fit”. In short, CrossFit specializes in not specializing. We aim to achieve a broad, generalized fitness in which we obtain a sufficient work capacity across all ten fitness domains (cardiovascular/respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy). Getting started is simple, you’ve already taken the first step. CrossFit is infinitely scaleable and can be individualized to help meet the needs of anyone. Whatever your current level of fitness is, whether a NCAA athlete or a couch potato, you’re ready for us and we’re ready for you.

If you are interested in getting started, call us to schedule your FREE private introduction. This will be a chance for you to come down and check out the facility, learn some more about CrossFit, and see the program and community of CrossFit Long Island. You will also get to experience the true feeling of CrossFit by completing the “Baseline” workout. This private introduction will give us the chance to learn more about you as well, i.e. your current level of fitness, health/ injury concerns, fitness background, motivation level, etc. Most importanlty, this is a comfortable, private setting in which you have an “open floor” to ask us any questions you have about our program and CrossFit in general, and to discuss how we will help you meet and exceed your personal goals.

After the introduction, you will be able to jump right into our Group workouts, no “On-Ramp” class, no “Elements” classes. You will be placed in a group of equal ability members and get started right away. Yes, these will be appropriate for you’re current level of fitness, but challenging nonetheless.
